Delay Comment: So Fucking Ridiculous; From CNN
DeLay added that Alabama and Mississippi did a much better job of responding quickly than Louisiana. Alabama and Mississippi have Republican governors. Louisiana Gov. Kathleen Blanco is a Democrat.

9. The definitive word is 'coordinate'. This proves that they're...
responsible for the lack of coordination.

8. Alabama and Mississippi didn't have a city of 500,000
get flooded either, did they?

Not to minimize what the people in Mississippi and Alabama have had to go through, but....

10. delay's a moron
he is engaging in his usual partisan hack job trying to make himself a useful, important player in the pukie party. His pathetic attempts seem a lot like sen joe mc carthy's attempts to seem relevant after he was made to look like an ass in his "communists in the army witch hunt" that brought him down.

15. He said Feds are "wholesalers" of relief, "states" are retailers!!!
Edited on Wed Sep-07-05 07:52 PM by Mein Bush
This idiot said that disaster relief is supposed to work from "the bottom up". He actually said that the feds are the wholesalers of relief and the state and local governments are the retailers. What if the levees were blown up by "terrists" (i.e. terrorists not tourists)?

If you combine this with what a conservative commentator (Kelly Anne something) said a couple of days ago on FOX that FEMA should be privatized, you can see where the right-wing-freak-show's priorities lie.

America is being run on a corporate philosophy gone stark raving mad.
