Even LENO sticking it to Bush
Edited on Tue Sep-06-05 10:41 PM by StellaBlue
Monologue:

To wild applause upon his entrance: "Sounds like Democrats looking at Bush's approval rating!"

"Compared to what the politicians have stolen, those looters have a LONG way to go."

"He's done everything he can, or as much as he could do while on vacation. But he got there as soon as he could once he found out there was oil in Louisiana."

"Did you know you don't have to be a lawyer (to be on the Supreme Court)? I guess that makes sense... you don't have to be competent to be appointed to FEMA, either."

3. Me, too.
Two of my three parents watch it EVERY night, and since he's been on break, they will have stayed up especially to see the monologue. Will be interesting as the tide continues to turn... bwhahahaha

2. My best friend is a writer on The Tonight Show...he is a liberal and
is always writing jokes hammering shrubby and company. How many get used is up to someone else...

4. lol, your friend was lucky to have survived the first term
Leno was unwatchable until about this time last summer when Leno or his producer, whatever smelled blood and loosened up a bit. Even then it was still two Clinton jokes for every Bush joke.

Kudos to your friend, glad he is fighting the good fight.

6. Just announced
another celeberty bike.

Harley Davidson donates the bike, Jay has all the celeberties sign it, then they auction off on ebay. Proceeds go to the american red cross.

7. That's GREAT news!
The Tonight Show (and Dave Letterman) is always a nice reflection of the country's mood. It also helps cement perceptions in the public eye..
