The last guy blaming the victims for expecting the Federal government to provide food and water when they were stranded in New Orleans.

10. Guiliani provided leadership
Let me go on record, I'm no friend of any Republican, but one thing Guiliani did that Bush did not do in the immediate aftermath of 9-11, was create the calming perception that somebody competent was in charge. This is something Bush could never do, monkey man that he is.

bush away from his birthday party with maccain..or his photo op in San Diego..

How could rudy have gotten the National Guard in there when the federal government was ignoring New Orleans until too late?

Could he have fixed the levees all by himself?

8. Sure Guiliani could have... he's Republican.
Missisippi had no problems getting the Coast Guard and National Guard in (as per the Governor on "Meet the Press"). Weird how the Republican Governor didn't have any problems getting help, but the Democrats in Louisianna did...

12. I believe you're right! ...........I also believe that the photo-op
of * being greeted by the Bessier sisters on Friday in Mississippi was staged, too. Those women looked too clean to have been stranded in the disaster area, without drinkable water and food for 4 days. Those skanks were actresses!

If the * admin can set-up these fake Town Hall meetings with "happy and adoring" constituents that ask softball questions (this was shown on The Daily Show a couple of months ago) why wouldn't or couldn't they stack the phone lines of these call-in shows?

They don't know who Giuliani is. No one liked him before 9/11 and the only reason why he was so liked on 9/11 is because he was the only person is some type of authority to talk to the citizens of the USA because the whole federal govt was too busy hiding in underground bunkers. No one in the Federal govt even called into the media to tell us what to do.

Giuliana didn't do shit, it was the living police and firemen who tried to save as many people as possible. They directed the people out of the city, they tried to save anyone in the towers.

NYC is even in better shape now and it's because they don't trust the Federal Govt, especially Bush with their safety anymore.

19. Giuliani had an army of emergency personnel at his disposal
IMMEDIATELY streaming in from NY state, NJ, and Conn. I know, because I was among the 1000's of average citizens who were trying to get into NYC on 9/11 to help out. But I and everybody else who wasn't a firefighter or paramedic was turned back at the GW Bridge because the city, within hours of the attacks, already had more than its share of relief helpers. That's not even close to the situation in NO.
