4. The rate of "upbeat/survival" stories is increasing. And it is bullshit.

The doctor who saved the old guy's dog, the marriage in the relief center, the reunited mom & newborn. Fuck these stories. They pale in relation to the mangled grandmas, floating dead children and hopsital patients who never had a chance. Stern. Stern. Stern. That is the only tone I will accept from anybody.
