State Police out in force for the holiday weekend.....

State Police out in force for the holiday weekend.....
I just read an article in my local newspaper how the NY State Police are out in force to keep us all safe this holiday weekend. They are really out in force to put as much money in the coffers of NYS as they can. Why can police be out in force to keep us safe from ourselves but no agencies could be out in force, in a timely manner, for the catastrophy that occurred in NO?
