Lake George, Louisiana!
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 07:31 PM by Chicago Democrat
What on the ground people are calling the new body of water that occupies 80% of what used to be New Orleans!

WORST PRESIDENT EVER!

WORST LEADER OF ALL TIME!

BIG JERK TOO!

(edited to include Louisiana to avoid confusion)

14. LOL...I didn't steal it. Someone else made it up.
Sorry I messed up your moment. It is quite a clever name that needs to be spread like wildfire.

2. I like it.
But I refuse to say that Democrats have no fault in this. We damn well did.

But George has earned this accolade and I want him to have it.

3. Uuummmmm, although I agree with your outrage at that
*sshole of a president, there is already a Lake George and it's in upper state New York. A lovely area, and that's probably because Lake George, New York has no relation to that *sshole who's president.

5. Thank you for pointing that out. Lake George in NY is one of my favorite
places. Growing up outside of the Capital District we used to go up to Lake George all the time... the scenery of the area still takes my breath away everytime we go there or drive through it to see my parents. :)

But... the Lake George in NY can stand on it's own merits and beauty... calling the toxic cesspool of a "lake" where NO was "Lake George" seems so very appropriate... who am I to question.

12. Everyone knows there's a Lake George in NY...that's why it's funny
Lake George, Louisiana.

And it's pretty organic, from what I understand. Folks just started calling it that without prompting.

15. Thank you - someone else suggested "L. George" yesterday...
...and I have to say that L.George, NY is stunningly beautiful. Lake Fuckwittage is mucho more apropos, IMO.

13. Do not sully the city of New Orleans..
..by attaching the president's name to it. We'll rebuild the city, hopefully with toilets that have the president's face at the bottom.
