DailyKos: Bipartisan investigation into Katrina failures
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 07:37 PM by BigBearJohn
Two key U.S. senators said on Friday they will open a bipartisan investigation into what they described as an "immense failure" of the government response to the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Sen. Susan Collins, a Maine Republican who heads the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee, and Sen. Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut, the panel's top Democrat, said they plan to begin an oversight investigation next week when the full Senate returns from a summer recess.

5. WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET YOU TO POST A PERMALINK?
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 06:58 PM by Eloriel
Edit: not just you, but you plural meaning anyone who doesn't post permalinks, and your numbers here lately are LEGION. And it obviously makes me cranky.

Your thread will be virtually worthless for research the more time passes.

At the bottom of the entry you'll see a hotlink marked "permanlink." Other blogs may have different terms, or just a hotlinked time stamp.

8. Just WHO are you to be telling me how to post? I post here so
Edited on Fri Sep-02-05 07:38 PM by BigBearJohn
people can read something current. Did not know it was my civic
duty to make it easy for others to do research. I researched to
find this topic -- if others want it that badly -- they can do
additional research. If you would prefer I didn't post, I
might be tempted to stop.

Does DU have a policy requiring (or suggesting) posters to
post permalinks. I guess I wouldn't mind your suggestion if
you had not been so aggressive about it. You are not my mother.

9. Screw Collins and other supposed "moderate" repukes
They all voted for Bush's budget cuts over the years.

Even Lieberman has had better sense than to vote for the tax cuts...and I'm not sure, but I think he has voted against Bush's budgets over the years...though I could be wrong.
