Message to Pres. Clinton: Run, don't walk away!!!
I am soooooooo tired of the "Me and My Shadow" routine Bill and H.W. have cultivated....and resurrected again today. It's one thing to belong to the ex-president's club, lock arms with each other and sing Kum Bye Yah (spelling?)....it's another to censor yourself (I'm talking to you Bill Clinton) and not say what I KNOW you believe: that this 'rescue and recovery effort' is a colossal clusterfuck!!!

I hope they raise a ton of money, just like they did with the Tsunami....that is NOT the point...the point is Clinton is putting himself at risk of losing the faith of the faithful (his Democratic base), and morphing into what John McCain became: a lickspittle. McCain WAS a widely respected P.O.W.-turned politician, admired by both Repubs AND Dems....before he allowed the Bush/Rove smear machine to shit all over him. McCain rolled over and said thank you sir may I have another. Again....Clinton is a former president, and as such will rarely doff the fiercely partisan demeanour of his campaigning and governing years....but he MUST SPEAK UP and swat away the latest offered glass of Kool-Aid!! Bill, we need you to get the fire back in your belly, and to howl like the Big Dog we knew and loved in years gone by!!!

1. Next thing you know -
he'll be photographed hugging *. What happened to Bill? I don't get it. Thought he had a brain.

Like 'lickspittle' - that's an adjective not used often enough and so appropos to describe McCain.

3. I've always loved that word "lickspittle", ever since Burns used it...
...to describe Smithers to the Germans who wanted to buy the powerplant on the Simpsons. (Sorry for the non-sequitor reference to a cartoon show...but anyway....):)

7. I think that is to comfort the nation.
To create the appearance that Bill is letting our now below C level President copy off his test. Okay Jr. The answer to Number 1 is this. When the people of America give you a sacred trust to hold. You don't run off with that trust and try to play King of the World with it. It is wrong to lie to them about the personal affairs of your private life. When you lie to them about your Official Constitutional Duties as President. They Impeach you and put you in jail. FOREVER and one fine day!
