New Orleans needs help and the Chimp could care less. Where are the MARINES ? Are they too busy in Iraq?

it would seem that the armed forces should be in there with helicoptes, boats and amphibious vehicles. it would seem the armed forces should be setting up camps for these displaced people. it would seem this should have been set in motion when it was first learned what an enormous problem this flooding was. i don't get it. there are people that need liberating right here, right now.

2. Thats really a good point
If nothing else, the military should have set up tent cities on the outskirts of NO to house those standing on the overpasses. This is just a mess, with no firm leadership at any level.

are working on this. That tells you it's a FUBAR from the beginning. And of course we know the 'homeland' is nowhere near 'secure', thanks in large part to chimpster.
