Cant they air drop food, water to people in NO ???

Seems I remember them doing that to a lot of the islands after the tsunami.

If they can do that for islands in the middle of nowhere, why cant they do it for a major city right in our back yard??

This is really pissing me off to see all those people basically hung out to dry!!

3. How about we drop MRE's water and some kind of leaflets
... explaining where they should go to? That is if anyone can decided where that should be.

For the love of gawd, these people need some leadership!

6. A Berlin Airlift?
Somehow I think that could be a bad idea given the current situation... maybe as a last resort.

There's pandemonium and enough of a mob mentality in NOLA as there is.

Once the pallets/packages were dropped, there could be a feeding frenzy
of people fighting each other for supplies.

I could see even more people killed or injured in that sort of uncontrolled situation.

7. People begging for water is not a mob mentality

They arent even asking for food, water is now their first priority.

Actually, imho its the opposite from what you say.. they longer they go starving the more desperate people get and then the greater danger of outlaw chaos.
