I heard there are hundreds if not thousands dead in Miss.
I was listening to G. Gordon Liddy (yeah, I know but it is good to know what your enemy is "thinking"). He had a report from a paramedic near Boloxi (sp) that stated there are hundreds of bodies in the trees, scattered about and in attics. They were removing them 30 at a time by truck. I firmly believe that anyone within 2 or 3 miles of the coast who decided to ride it out is likley dead.
We need to rethink living on the coasts and how impending storms are looked at. No more choice in "riding it out", everybody in the area will be put on a bus and moved. It makes no sense to put rescuers at risk after the storm when it could be handled beforehand at a fraction of the cost.
