2. you must be joking
Even in our own party, some who would be our next Prez. refuse to say anything resembling regret or apology for voting for this war. Nope, it was "the right thing to do".

If we can't get that from our own what makes you think the Freeper/Dittoheads will admit error??

Too damn much narcissism these days. I find it horrifying.

3. holding our breath?
Edited on Tue Jul-15-03 08:28 AM by Iverson
You are referring to a mentality that doesn't care about accuracy or truth except as a tool in an unremitting stampede of the constant accumulation of power.

The energy that should go toward contrition instead gets devoted to rehabilitating McCarthy.

One school of thought says that we need to pander to these people in order to be "moderate." Your demands for apology are unacceptably radical.

edited for grammar

4. Hello !?!?!?
Mission Accomplished ... We Won

Don't you remember when Rummy (I Think) commented on "How so many people could be so wrong about so much".

</saracasm>

I agree, I think Bush should have come forward when HE found out that this information was bogus, and explain to the American people how HE was fooled by the CIA.

Cheer

10. You are so right
Where are the questions about why they didn't come clean until now? They supposedly found out the information was bogus before last week, but just kept that little tidbit to themselves? (I know it was reported that the IAEA called it bogus back when, but I'm referring to the party line in this administration.) Now they're "crawfishing" because somebody woke up and called them on it? WHAT honor and integrity?

5. Where's the apology
to Jaques Chirac? Powell was until recently looking for a way to punish France.Where's the apology to the United Nations? "The UN needs to get a backbone."

8. They would rather SUICIDE
I honestly believe that many of these nuts would rather commit harakiri then admit that their God Bush was wrong and that they were wrong supporting him.

Not that they would ever consider this because they are brainwashed anyway

9. stupid people...
...are too stupid to understand that they are stupid. I'm not holding my breath on that apology :)

Also, chicken littles who were/are afraid of Saddam Hussein are quite possibly the biggest pussies in the world, so they should stfu about anti-war folks being chickens.

15. Yeah, we've been angry....
...we worked so diligently before, during and, still, now to let the World know we're onto the LIES of B***H and his ad-mini-stration....Yes, it has made us ANGRY that we were so maligned by so many ....

.....We say..."Our Children, our Grandchildren will, always, know that mom and dad, grandma and grandpa took action, protested and spoke out against this WAR...

......but saying 'that we cared enough' aloud now or even thinking about it... brings a strange sensation in our chests, a hollow beating around our hearts, a hunger in the pits of our stomachs and a near silent scream from our mouths....because...

......Where is a NATIONS sense of remorse, the sorrow and the compassion, the apology for the thousands of people whose lives have been lost or shattered by B**SH's Invasion of Iraq.

Apologize to us... ..better yet, stand over the coffins and shed tear after tear for these needless, needless deaths.

The Tikkis

17. Don’t forget the celebrities
who have risked their careers, gotten death threats, and lost gigs:

Janeane Garofalo
Dixie Chicks
Martin Sheen
Mike Farrell
Danny Glover
Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon
… and others

###############

And apologies FROM:
Dennis Miller
Toby Keith
Ted Nugent
… and whatever other loud mouth celebrity jackasses that I can’t think of offhand.

You were wrong – admit it. We’re waiting…
