A compromise on Intelligent Design:
You get to teach Intelligent Design alongside Evolution in all schools. We get to teach Intelligent Safe Sex alongside abstinince only policies.

Also, you can have your bible class, and teach your fairy tales about how the human race was born out of incest and polygamy. But we get to teach kids tolerance and allow teachers to assign the books they want the kids to read.

Not just the ones that have Jimmy turning to God during a troubled time in his life and asking him to smite the shit out of everyone.

As for the Ten Commandments, we'll let you post the Beatitudes in public buildings. They were spoken by Jesus you know. Jesus?

What do you think?

2. Terrible compromise....
we must always maintain separation of church and state. Let religious schools or bible classes teach intelligent design, it does not belong in science class or in public schools. The Ten Commandents do not belong in public buildings, teach them at home.

4. Who do you imagine will push harder and go further with any opportunity?
This is end-of-the-world stuff for ultrachristians.

Zero tolerance of their zero tolerance. They think that we want to take their bibles away; all we want to do is live alongside, without having bibles shoved down our throats.

We teach Science in Science class. We teach safe sex as part of a comprehensive sex-ed policy (abstinence-only is absolute BS). We teach tolerance in our schoolrooms.

We don't compromise with idiocy. Period.
