"I support my President & our soldiers, but had really started to wonder last year myself when we didn't get what we went there for - these weapons. What changed things DRASTICALLY for me is when we found OTHER terrorists harbored by Saddam there (like the sicko who hi-jacked the Achille Lauro in the 80's & murdered the disabled Jewish-American man. My grandmother was on a Greek cruise at the same time & we were heartsick to think she could have been on THAT ship). I freaked when Vladimir Putin came forward last year at this time to say he also gave our government Intelligence reports that Saddam wanted to participate in a global attack on our country. Did we, the American people, know THAT going in? Nope. So, who knows what OTHER intelligence is out there that our government is keeping a secret? (In order to protect other countries who gave it to us). Daschle & Kerry BEGGED President Clinton to attack for the same reasons Bush did. Hillary Clinton herself told the press Al Quaeda had a LARGE training camp in northern Iraq. If WE knew it was there, how could Saddam NOT? Duh.

Finally, they successfully held "peaceful" elections & allowed WOMEN to vote. More & more Iraqis are joining the forces & it will not be long before their military is strong enough to fend off insurgents & our soldiers can leave. It was NOT a mistake to go there, period."

5. What convoluted logic.
It's called after-acquired evidence. In California, an employer who breaches an employment contract by firing, without good cause, a person who was hired under a contract requiring good cause for termination is not liable if the employer, after firing the person, discovers some good cause for the firing that would have constituted good cause had the employer only known about it before the firing. Does that seem convoluted? It is. It's crazy. How does discovering you had a reason after all that would have excused you from having done something you were only supposed to do for a reason without a reason makes it all OK. On, no. There is just no simple way to get this across -- probably because the whole concept doesn't make sense.

6. Haha like beauty, stupidity is more than skin deep!
And this one is stupid to the core!

In my opinion is is less stupid to ALWAYS believe the Bush cabal than it is to question them and then STILL believe.

As for harbouring that Archille Lauro terrorist, I do believe it was the Iraqi government that killed him when they tried to arrest him BEFORE the war. If having a terrorist in your country makes you a harbourer of terrorists then the US has harboured Al Qaeda terrorists for years, and claims to STILL be harbouring them!

I don't know about these intelligence reports Putin is meant to have given, they are news to me, but even so, I could "want to participate" in a global attack on the US too - doesn't mean I can, or that you can break the law and attack my home becuase that is what you suspect I might want to do.

The large Al Qaeda training camp was in the US protected Kurdish part of Iraq - remember the no fly zones? If the Iraqi government had moved on that camp they would have been bombed by US warplanes - it was the US that was protecting Al Qaeda in Iraq, NOT Hussein.

As for the elections, they held elections before the invasion, and women voted then too - and they were just as legitimate as this latest "election".

Finally, the Iraqis that are joining the "forces" are mostly just looking for a job - as is evidenced by the fact that most times they end up in a fight they either run or switch sides. And once the US is OUT of Iraq, Iran will most likely step in to take over, and then Iran will be even STRONGER than it is now.

Whoever this person is, their stupidity goes to the core.

A link would be nice however :)
