WHERE'S GEORGE? Day Five! --VIGIL PIX->>>
Edited on Thu Aug-18-05 07:51 AM by Stephanie

Where is he? AWOL again.

That's some "Working Vacation" at the "Western White House" - George hasn't been seen at all for FIVE DAYS now. He last appeared on Saturday, throwing the first pitch at a Waco Little League game. Since then, he seems to be in hiding. Did not appear at all on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. No photo-ops of him golfing, biking or clearing brush. No trips, no guests, no fundraisers. Nothing seems to be scheduled for today. What's he doing in there?

Why won't George come out of the house? Could it be the Gold Star Mother in his driveway, and her many thousands of supporters?

Come out, come out, wherever you are
And meet with the Mother you gave a Gold Star.

1. Where's George?
He's grieving--look at the "lacerates" rolling down his little cheeks.

Or else maybe he's practicing his putting. "Now watch this drive..."

BTW, beautiful photos of ordinary Americans coming together.

4. I know what he's doing
He's binge drinking at night, and training for his ride with Lance in the afternoons. It's hard work.

2. The snake hides in the grass.
Beautiful pictures of beautiful Americans. Come out from your rock, Smirky. Tell us the noble cause for which we fight and die. These are not cannon fodder that you see. These are the 70% who don't agree with you. They were always there, Smirky, even though you do your best to hide them and tell them they don't exist. I hear your talking points today, Smirky. You tell us that progressives have a long road to walk before we make a political come back. We were always here, Smirky. You lied to us, and thousands of us died. We are waiting, Smirky.

We know you. We can smell you.

8. Did you see this....What a joke he is
Can this bike ride be Bush's tour de force?

From Tom Baldwin in Washington

GEORGE BUSH is hoping to show off his newfound mountain bike skills by taking
Lance Armstrong, the seven-times Tour de France champion, for a ride across the
rough terrain of his 1,600-acre Texas ranch on Saturday.

The President, 59, prides himself on having a fitness level in the top 1 per cent for men of his
age. He weighs 13st 10lb, can bench-press 185lb and, until a knee injury forced him to give up
jogging last year, was able to run three miles in under 20 minutes.
