Anyone who can join Cindy Sheehan should think about heading out
to Crawford. It would be awesome to see her protest grow to be tens of thousands and force Bush to have to come out and talk to her and look like a fool. This could be the start of a major shift. Cindy needs all the help she can get.

Unfortunately, I can't go but I would if I could.

1. He Won't Come Out
It might make a better news story if there is a huge crowd, but Shrub won't show his face regardless of how many are there. Whether it's 1 person or 1,000,000. He's got more important stuff. Bein' pwesident is hard work.

4. Doesn't matter. If there are THOUSANDS there, how can the press avoid it?
It's red meat for them.

29. I think it would build momentum--keep kicked and recommend
And it gives people the idea that it's ok to agree with the peace movement. These are moms who have lost their kids and will make an impression to those sitting on the fence.

3. How long will she be out there?
I was going to drive up today, but didn't make it. I live in Austin (about 2 1/2 hours away).
I wanted to film it, but it looks like she is getting plenty of coverage...

26. You left off Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mexico.
Easiest for those in southern OK, western side of Louisiana and southwestern tip of Arkansas.

And don't forget all of Texas. Crawford is just a hop, skip and a jump away from Ft. Hood, San Antonio is just down the road and in Temple/Bolton we have a very large VA hospital (rumor has it is being shut down). This is one hell of a militarized state and then some.

Thank you all and yes we can make this effective and it is an action to stand proudly behind.

LIke welcome aboard and all but if you spent some of the best years of your life raising your child so some piece of shit could send him out to get killed needlessly how important would time look like to you at that point?

18. Nothing but respect. This lady has a lot more character than Bush...
I think I would have fallen apart and be in a mental institution or in jail after trying to have a man to man talk with Bush about his lack of intestinal fortitude, intelligence and compassion.

I hope this whole Bush insanity brings the vast majority of Americans, and for that matter the world to the realization that violence is the absolute last resort in a justified cause.

Here we have violence in an unjustified cause

I figured what the hey. If its still going on next weekend Ill go and camp with her. Now, bear in mind, my husband is asleep so he has no idea that this is what I have planned for tomorrow. We shall see what he thinks. :)

Can anyone tell me the legalities of picture taking?

For instance, can I take pictures and video of the SS harrassing Cindy, or will they demand I stop filming or surrender the device or whatever?

20. You have every right on public property to take pictures of anything
that you see.

The only exceptions would be if you are compromising national security, which I doubt would be the case 5 miles from the ranch itself.
