Worries concerning the September protest

in january/february there were reports of the building of mass emergency shelters in the DC area as much as 200 miles from the center or so. Unfortunately i can't search for the links, so perhaps someone with a star might help out a little.

For the Thugs-in-office it would be a convenient way of getting rid of a lot of activist dissenters and a getting the martial law event.

i've got a bad feeling about this. be careful whom of you who go. and give em hell

i know you have to go. theres no recourse. just be prepared (wills, double thoughts about taking with you the children as someone should continue the fight if something goes wrong.) dunno...shitty situation.

Has made several 'errors' during previous protests. They are under A LOT of pressure NOT to do so again.

I would be suprised if they had detainment shelters 200 mi away, just because of the transit time required to fill them. I would not be surprised if they had shelters outside the city. Evacuation is always a fear, and money is available, so my bet is yes, there are shelters around DC, though likely not specifically for protesters.

DC is blue, it would have a shocker effect that would allow martial law to be declared. and besides weren't there reports about strange building sites? one of them was cheneys domicile. i wouldn't put it past them to mihop DC.
