The Question I hadn't thought to ask....until now:
The Answer Should Be Obvious...

How is it that the Brits and Italians can hunt down and capture a clandestine group of al Qaeda terrorists in weeks without going to war with an uninvolved nation, without infuriating and motivating billions of members of one of the world's most popular religions to a raging hatred, without soiling their international reputations, and Bush can't? Very simple. The inescapable conclusion is that Bush does not want to.

Without tucking what's left of my hair under my tinfoil hat, a lot of us have been queasy stating the idea that terrorism serves Bushco's interests. I won't go so far as to say that Bushco planned and executed 9/11. If that's true, we're dealing with an evil that is incomprehensible. But I am now pretty certain that when the towers and Pentagon were left smoldering, the cold blooded bastards at State and Defense and at the neocon think tanks thought Christmas came early. The Brits have proved it.

2. It's a real "Well, duh" moment...
No offense meant... just let it wash over you. It's the truth, and once you realise it, it's really horribly obvious.

And, they investigated "it."
It's that plain and simple.

Think about it.

5. Answer, BushCo and repukes thrive on the fear that terrorism generates
...so they have no reason to seek out and stop terrorists.

6. The sad thing is that most Americans will never know the truth about
Edited on Sat Jul-30-05 09:26 PM by glarius
Bush...He is going down in the polls now, but not because the public is finding out about his real motives for attacking Iraq, (no danger of that with the current American media), but because they are tired of the war dragging on and Americans dying, with no end in sight....Even his little scheme of keeping the public on his side by feeding their fear of "the terrorists" and convincing them that he is the only one who can keep them safe is wearing thin.

7. I voiced the same question to my husband, yesterday.
Maybe the Brits could help us find out who mailed all of that anthrax, back in late 2001, because it sure doesn't seem like our own government looked into it too deeply.

11. Take away the Republican "War on Terror" and what remains?
A Party that's transferred $1TT of wealth back to the 2% of Americans. That transfer would have been a hell of a lot harder without a WOT to distract the American people.
