1. Oh -- CAMPAIGN Manager!
Randi said Chief of Staff.

So that means she'll have a few episodes and stay on MAJORITY REPORT, yes?

17. Glad to hear it's campaign manager
But Josh has been campaign manager and it's almost time for the election -- does it make sense to bring in a new campaign manger at this point? Randi said chief of staff and I wondered what they'd do with Allison Janney. I'd hate to see her gone, but would the new prez keep her on as chief of staff? I think it will be Santos, even though Alan Alda's character isn't a bad Republican. If he won, they'd have to get rid of the entire cast and start from scratch. If the Dem wins, they can move people around into different roles, but keep them on the show. I'd love to see Allison Janney as VP.

5. I think he's the Latino who ran for Prez as a Dem just to
raise education as an issue. I'm trying to think of the name of the guy who played him -- and of course, total mental blank. Remember L.A. Law? THAT guy. Jimmy Smits (sp?)

6. Do WW fans believe Santos will win?
He has to, right?

The shows ratings would fall to three viewers if the WH went red.

RIGHT???

16. It could probably go either way.
The Republican Candidate is not the Neo-Con Fascist type we
are forced to deal with in reality, but rather an old fashioned
Republican who truly believes in honest public service, fiscal
responsibility and dialogue - yes, dialogue - based on ideological
differences. Not trumped up campaign smears and lies
promoted from the shadows.

Santos' (played by Smits) opponent is played by Alan Alda.

What it may actually boil down to is which actor
(Smits or Alda) they were able to get to agree to a weekly
series commitment.

7. Good for her--nice to see her getting some good roles
after years of fighting her way through Hollywood.

14. I predict the Alan Alda character wins, because
the writers have been writing about a Democratic president for a long time, and so I think they would like to write about a Republican president for a change.

15. Going by what the actors say, (possible spoiler)
I think Smits' character wins. I think Alda said he didn't want to take on a big role in a weekly hour-long drama. That could be tv disinformation, though.

I did a Google search and didn't find anything about it, so I decided I must have heard wrong.
