2. I did some math. Is this right?
Given the population of Iraq that's $7,055 per Iraqi. And given the exchange rate (1890 dinars/dollar) that's 13,344,699 dinars per Iraqi. Even with extreme inflation to hit Iraq, an average home can cost $1 million dinars.

So for that much would could have bought every Iraqi over 13 houses!

4. Maybe this could be called the War of the 13 Houses
We could have literally purchased their country instead of allowing hundreds of thousands of people to die. I'm not suggesting paying off 'terrorists' of course, but seriously we could have given every so called 'terrorist' $1 million to go away instead. That would not be a litteral solution. It just shows how that we could have found a happy medium where that much money could have been used to avoid all the bloodshed.
