4. Here's a truism
really brilliant people don't forget anything. That is why they are brilliant. Most of education and testing during John Roberts time was based on memorization and those with superior memories tested well providing they studied.

6. Ronald Reagan Syndrome.
Why do so many Repukes seem to have such short memories? I think perhaps medical science should look into this. Oh wait, they're not to big on science are they?

12. Roberts and the Federalist Society...slipped his mind?...
Charles Lane, WP Staff Writer, Mon 7-25-05

"Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts Jr. has said he has NO* memory of belonging to the Federalist Society, but his name appears in the influential conservative legal organization's 1997-1998 leadership directory."

10. How about joining the Steering Committee of the FS? Apparently he's
forgotten that too.

Geez, there goes that "brilliant mind" part of the bush*co sales job on this guy. That took what, 3 days?

Perhaps rummy briefed him during the search process about the known knowns, the unknown knowns, etc?

13. How Does Scottie Live with Himself?
I mean, at the bottom line, isn't the White House spokesman supposed to at least appear that he cares about the freedom of the press, and the important role that news and openess plays in our society?

Didn't one of Clinton's Press Spokesman resign because he felt betrayed by the Lewsinski scandal?

I guess that's the difference between a press spokesman with a conscience, and one that's just a "cold, lizard-hearted, Republican ass-licker".

"Restoring dignity and integrity MY ASS!"

21. You have to wonder if
a line even exists with some people. The will not cross line. How can this man have any dignity left? He's been a total lapdog for Bush. It's painful to watch. He stands there week after week fumbling around. Saying the say line over and over. Like a squawking parrot.
It's humiliating for him and embarrassing for everyone else.
Does he ever watch the video of himself crabwalking and stuttering?
Maybe, like the Islamic terrorists, he's just waiting for his final reward.
There must be a windfall of money waiting for Scotty when Bush is done with him.
And if he'll debase himself to this degree for money, then he's lost. He has no sense of self worth.
We should pity him.

14. A dis-assembler on the SCOTUS
Just what we need.

I used to have a small modicum of respect for the Republican party...but now it seems it is made up ENTIRELY of liars and thieves.

How can decent people fall for such lies...

16. Bingo!
We have a Secretary of State who "simply forgot" to take the bogus "yellowcake" claim out of the SOTU speech.

We have a VP who didn't remember ever meeting Sen. Edwards, though they had been photographed together.

And we have a president who forgot to show up for his TANG service.

Are you gonna' swallow all this, America?
