Your thoughts on this for a TV commercial concept
It's for a bar called the crossroads music theater located conveniently enough on an intersection of two main roads. The pitch I just gave to the owner was this. We film it in sepia tones (browinish old picture black and white) exentuate the crossroads at first then pan to the bar. low angles mostly. We see a man standing in front of the bar all in black. A line of musicians are walking slowly to the bar, various implements of music in their hands (guitars, drum sticks etc.)we do a voice over explaining an old legend that musicians could go to an old crossroads and sign their soul away to the devil to be better players. the line of musicians continue during this and they all sign the man in black's clipboard he is holding when they reach the door and he lets them in. it ends with all the musicians in and the man in black just before he follows them in delivering the tag line. "They're leaving their souls on stage for you. All you have to do is come and collect" end titles come up: The Crossroads music theater, route 283 and 342 in Black River right outside main gate of fort drum.

1. Sounds pretty neat.
If it does become a commercial, you'll have to try to post it here for all us non-Floridians.

he already loved the pitch now I have to round up 10-15 musicians to pull it off. trying to get it done in a couple weeks. I'm so stoked it's been quite a while since I got a paid video gig like this. I miss doing ads.

BTW I'm in Northern New york

I thought Fort Drum was in Florida? At least that's what hubby says anyway. But who knows, he just likes to pretent that he's right and I just chuckle at him.

5. That would explain it then.
Hub is always pushing for a move to Florida. Yuck, can't stand it there. Too hot, hurricanes (one which we were in), nothing but palm trees....uh-uh, not for me.

Anyway, good luck with the ad. Maybe if it goes over well, you'll get more offers.
