2. Addressed the Clark/GOP thing
Said Clark said 'he didn't fit in with the GOP because he was pro-choice, pro-affirmative action, and... when he was young and impressionable, fought in a war."

37. Barkley keeps putting his foot in his mouth
I wasn't impressed with his ignorant comments about A. Sharpton and C. M-Braun (although he did manage to sugar coat it with a joke). Then his comments about 911 being the greatest thing to happen to us didn't come across that well (even though he managed to clean up some of the damage).

39. Charles Surprised Me
and I think others as well...especially Mahrer who brought up his line about being a Repugnican and wanting to run for Gov. of Alabama.

If Charles was a Bushie, it doesn't quite look like it now (probably like J.C. Watts...where's he hiding?) and while he looked like an igorant fool since he really didn't look like he really is paying that much attention to the primaries (and honestly who besides us junkies are?), his focus is on a bigger picture...which is where we should all be.

40. Charles is an opinionated loudmouth
who says what he thinks without thinking about it first. Often he makes an ass of himself, and often he says something which is spot-on. Sometimes both at once.
I don't think it's fair to call Charles a b*shie. He has a lot of money , and has a bit of a greedy streak, but he's honest about what he believes in, and he knows how to admit when he's wrong.
If Charles knew the things we knew about b*sh, there is no way in hell he would ever say another nice word about him.

Just my two cents.

:-)

45. Agreement on Charles
About the Chuckster,
One thing to remember about the guy is he is unscripted. His heart is usually in the right place as shown by tonight's performance. Does he say stupid things?... of course but I have also seen him change positions once being shown more info on the subject. The dude just works off the cuff and sometimes he is wrong. Thats the price he pays he isn't a politician just an athelete with an honest opinion and that is a very rare thing these days.
