Analysts said the timing was also designed to take media focus away from the troubles facing Bush's embattled adviser, Karl Rove.

Meet the Press host Tim Russert told anchor Brian Williams on NBC Nightly News that every Republican he had talked to on Tuesday said, "Thank God the White House is changing the subject."

2. The loyal foot soldiers are calling the leak story a dead horse on
the way to the morgue. They really believe Wilson lied and the leak is a non issue.

4. The White House is changing the subject?
Please! They've been trying to ignore it for years, but the people are the ones who won't let it die. And if they think that the mere nomination of someone to the SCOTUS is going to let the Turdblossom fiasco die off they have another thing coming.
