WTF?! According to Drudge, Limbaugh & O'Reilly beat out Franken!
I know, I know!! I shouldn't lurk over to Drudge, but I was curious to see what he had to say about John Roberts. Acording to Drudge, Limbuagh & O'Reilly's numbers beat out Franken in NYC. Now, I thought it was just the opposite. "IF" Thye did beat out Franken, fine. I just want to be fair. If those numbers are correct, then fine. I just want to know if we can confirm it. Anyone if its true?

Let's see if Limbaugh or O'Reilly mentions it.

6. It's the age 25-54 table that counts--it's the one advertisers use

       Host Share Avg. Quarter Hour
Rank

     Rush Limbaugh 2.5 50,600
17
     Al Franken 1.7 34,400
20
     Bill O'Reilly 1.2 23,900
23
     Jerry Springer 1.0 18,600

And there's nothing new. Franken has always beaten out
O'Reilly, and Rush as always beaten out everyone. It's the
real reason why O'Reilly hates Franken, but his real problem
is that he's on at the same time as Rush.

3. It's the same junk he spews out every rating period
Pure bullshit. He fails to take in account demographics. He only is posting total number of all listenings. So he is hiding the "numbers"/demographic information that truely defines radio rankings.

4. I don't doubt it.
Franken is boring and dull. Someone like Randi, Malloy or anyone with fire in the belly would be better for that time spot. I can't listen to him, he's tries too hard to appeal to the fantom middle.

7. Franken may not be
a firebrand, but sometimes he's damned funny.

Randy IS a firebrand, but she can be even more funny sometimes.

5. True
Can't get a head-to-head comparison here, but Limbaugh and Hannity are on WABC, which got an overall 3.2 share. O'Reilly and Savage and the vile Bob Grant are on WOR, which got a 2.3 share. WLIB, the Air America station, only got a 1.0 share.
