Someone asked me why W was according me "the worst president in 150 years"
Here is my ruff, off the top of the head rant. If anybody could please improve apon it, add to it to make it more consise and better thought out in any way please help me out.

--------------

More or less stealing an election to get into power, Trillions of dollars lost to our country in his turn from our surplus to deficit, a downturn that contrary to republican lying points, began months AFTER he began his presidency, and BEFORE 9-11. Giving his corporate best friends carte blanche to dictate energy, environmental, and wallstreet regulatory policy, ignoring attempts by anyone and everyone to get his administration focused on Al Qaeda terrorism up till 9-11, and after failing miserably to act bravely, intelligently, or responsibly during 9-11 (IE, My Pet Goat) instantly participating in the shameless political exploitation of the murder of 3000 Americans for whatever selfish personal rape of power possible, being the most totalitarian, dishonest, and corrupt administration imaginable in America, electing to rush into an unneeded invasion of Iraq killing thousands of US troops, maiming tens of thousands, killing and maiming hundreds of thousands of innocents, turning the US Military, which was as powerful as every other countries combined, into an overextended, tied up, occupying police force, when we're at our most isolated and disliked in world history, and we could never use more military and diplomatic help and assistance, and being the type of person that in the American idea should least be president. An uncurious, spoonfed, failure of a man who has turned everything he's touched in life to shit despite being given every option imaginable and by all accounts a complete and utter asshole.

1. Actually, I can't improve upon it
except that I'd say the worst President ever. Even James Buchanan wasn't as bad, imho.

they read much better than a three sentence paragraph rant.

More or less stealing an election to get into power.

Trillions of dollars lost to our country in his turn from our surplus to deficit, a downturn that contrary to republican lying points, began months AFTER he began his presidency, and BEFORE 9-11.

Giving his corporate best friends carte blanche to dictate energy, environmental, and wallstreet regulatory policy.

Ignoring attempts by anyone and everyone to get his administration focused on Al Qaeda terrorism up till 9-11.

After failing miserably to act bravely, intelligently, or responsibly during 9-11 (IE, My Pet Goat) instantly participating in the shameless political exploitation of the murder of 3000 Americans for whatever selfish personal rape of power possible.

Being the most totalitarian, dishonest, and corrupt administration imaginable in America.

Electing to rush into an unneeded invasion of Iraq killing thousands of US troops, maiming tens of thousands, killing and maiming hundreds of thousands of innocents.

Turning the US Military, which was as powerful as every other country's combined, into an overextended, tied up, occupying police force when we're at our most isolated and disliked in world history, and we could never use more military and diplomatic help and assistance.

Being the type of person that in the American idea should least be president: An uncurious, spoonfed, failure of a man who has turned everything he's touched in life to shit despite being given every option imaginable and is, by all accounts, a complete and utter asshole.

Nice rant, BTW. :)

3. agree, and I'd add
that his reactionary cultural pseudo-religious views are holding the country back in terms of scientific research, stem cells, etc.
The fact he is determined to subsidize big oil also impedes progress rather than encouraging the marketplace to develop new more efficient technologies. That, in conjunction with making what may be the worst foreign policy decision in American history, has weakened our nation.
Our educational system is woefully inadequate, which means the population is ill prepared to compete in the new economy, not to mention the fact their poor education impedes their making thoughtful political choices.

And of course he has make a mockery of our constitution, turning us into a state that tortures others and forsakes the bill of rights at home.

8. Reminds me of the old Li'l Abner character - Joe Btfsplk
The world's worst jinx. Bush has jinxed everything. Everything!

Contrast where we were 5 years ago when Clinton surrendered power to him. God. It's like 5 years of darkness.

9. You only listed about 10% of his crimes.
This is without question the worst administration in the history of America. I predict that future historians will unanimously render exactly this judgment. And it won't be that long, either.

13. It will be a while.
There are too many people who enthusiastically support him. They will refuse to see the truth. Wide acceptance won't come till the generation that supported him is mostly dead and gone, or at the very least in the minority.

People have a hard time admitting that they are complicitly guilty. It's been 5 years since Clinton, and no repukes are able to let go of the hatred and see what he really did. Give it a good 30 to 40 after * is out. THEN you can get some honest commentaries from most everyone.

10. Bush didn't rush into a war with Iraq
He'd been wanting to invade Iraq since before he was president. I think that is the single most despicable act that Bush has done (so far). He started a war to boost his political power.

11. Great
and I would add that he shamelessly exploits people's religious beliefs to turn them against their own fellow citizens; The fact that he promised to be a "uniter not a divider" but in practice does everything he can to divide us raises my ire.
