Just another day in Iraq. Brown muslim people dying just isn't news in the USA.

Now a missing white girl in Aruba, we are still picking that big story over with a magnifying glass...

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - An insurgent suicide bomber detonated explosives strapped to his body Saturday, triggering a huge explosion at a gas station near a mosque south of Baghdad and killing at least 54 people. The attack capped a string of three major bombings over the past four days that killed at least 120.

Police Capt. Muthanna Khaled Ali and Dr. Adel Malallah of the Jumhuri General Hospital in Hillah, the provincial capital, said the gas station blast in Musayyib, about 40 miles south of Baghdad, killed 54 and wounded at least 82 others....

1. Thanks for posting this. If Harry Potter was killed in the blast
it might have gotten more play.

4. I thought I saw 58 somewhere. Regardless, over 50 people killed in
an explosion and no one caring is heartbreaking. Over 50 people killed in an explosion and some people will becheering the event. Over 50 people killed in an explosion that would never have happened if bush** and his criminal buddies hadn't thought that they'd be able to throw around a few lies to start a war, and that it would be a cakewalk to take over another country and steal their oil, is just repugnant and repulsive beyond description.

There's no point in even berating the bush** administration for their responsibility here. It won't do any good. Since these people are morally bankrupt and (I truly believe) totally evil, nothing can ever reach them to make them understand what they've done. And they wouldn't give a damn anyway. They'll just shake their heads and curse the dead for getting in their way, for having the nerve to defy them, and object to the theft of their country and the destruction of their way of life.

There's not one damn plan to make this sitation right because things have gotten so damn out of control its impossible to know what to do now. Shi'ites, Sunnis, and Kurds are not only fighting us but each other. The bush** administration never believed that they couldn't control the situation (although it was a situation created by a bunch of cowards who had never seen war up close and personal) because they were too arrogant and greedy.

By the way NBC News just said it was 60 people. A few more dead innocents here, a few more there, what does it matter when the crazy bastard squatting in our White House says that it's all being done in the name of freedom?

5. It's difficult to immediately get an accurate count
when there are people in different hospital beds, some dying, among people in the hospital for reasons unrelated to the explosion.

8. To be perfectly honest,...
,...I have had to make myself avoid extensive exposure to so many human tragedies. I have a healthy conscience and strong compassion. So, the compilation of unnecessary human suffering really takes a toll on my soul and distracts me from action.

From time to time, I've allowed the horror to wash through me because I am a human being,...not a stone. But, I have made it a conscious point to avoid these threads,...for my own sanity and to keep me centered on the tasks at hand: exposing these heartless corporacrats and educating the people about the corporacrats role in CREATING this awful mess in which we find ourselves.
