Define Irony......Check out a freeper post
To: RightFighter
There is no legal problem for Rove...Reporters in Washington have a gleam in their eye and smiles on their faces, and there's a reason for it...Pat Fitzgerald hasn't been digging for two years and judges haven't been sending reporters to jail because they don't have anything...

That's the problem with these open-ended special prosecutor investigations. They go on and on and on, chew up boatloads of taxpayer dollars, and rarely result in anything remotely worthwhile. Rarely is the core charge ever substantiated. Special prosecutors are not held accountable for their own activites and the proceedings are not transparent. So secrecy and selective leaks from those involved or caught up in the investigation create a climate of rampant speculation, often destroying the lives and careers of people who are innocent of any wrongdoing.

So does anyone know if there is a deadline for Fitzgerald to wrap things up, or will he just continue with this investigation for the rest of his natural life

Now Special prosecutors are a "pain"

1. The thing is this special prosecutor was empowered
by a grand jury, the good old fashioned non-political way...

The Star Chamber was empowered by Newt and the Boys and was purely politcal in nature....

2. And just how long did the Whitewater investigation take?
Six years. And it cost the taxpayer $50 million, and after all that the results were... zippo. Nada. But that whole goatfuck was just fine with the freeper death squads.....

5. But the numerous special investigations..............
into the Clinton's private lives were different.......how? The freeps didn't mind spending 70 million plus dollars and taking hundreds of FBI agents off other cases to investigate the Clintons. AND THEY FOUND NOTHING!

These dimwits can't see the forest for the trees. :eyes:
