Fitzgerald is the only special prosecutor appointed in the five years of the Bush admin, which is quite possibly the most corrupt (in terms of $$$$$$$) since the Harding days (gotta love those Ohio Republicans... they sure know how to shake down the money tree...)
I know the statute has expired, but fitz was appointed after that happened.
the only one, and this is really the tip of the iceberg in this administration. if the statute hadn't expired, i can imagine Dick Cheney and his cohorts coming in to the office each day have having a daily morning meeting about which documents to provide which special prosecutor...
