It's official...the lunatics have taken over the asylum.
Representative Peter King (I'm sure he'd like a THE stuck between the two names) had this to say the other day.

"And Joe Wilson has no right to complain. And I think people like Tim Russert and the others, who gave this guy such a free ride and all the media, they're the ones to be shot, not Karl Rove."

Let me get this straight. This guy, this elected representative, is advocating the shooting of reporters because they give air time to someone he disagrees with?

I don't know about you, but I've got a problem with that.

Why are they working so hard to discredit Joe Wilson? This is a guy who--until he had the temerity to contradict this administration--was considered one of the best in his field...an able ambassador who served this country faithfully not only in Iraq, but in several other Mid-Eastern and African nations. We're supposed to believe that, because of one statement (one that just happened to be true) he's become just another liberal America-hater.

The Republican attack dogs are vicious, and are spinning this story so hard they're going to end up counteracting the Earth's rotation. What is WRONG with these people?

Oh, yeah. I already know the answer to that. Power attracted the corruptible and the people stopped paying attention. The media stopped doing its job and gave THEM a free ride for nearly five years.

I'm watching these developing stories with a great deal of interest. Is it possible that this administration's web of lies is beginning to unravel?

Perhaps.

Time will tell.

1. I was thinking this morning that with the Bush group in charge
Hitler could be resurrected as a world war 2 hero. Without him we could not have had a chance to build our military to the level it is now. Those who speak ill of Adolph should be shot for not accepting his central role in our ascendence.

2. Their spin
is getting to that point, isn't it? It's astounding what these people will say with very little cost to their credibility. It's getting to the point that I wonder when the reporters are going to get a spine and start asking things like--"I didn't just hear you advocate shooting people outright, did I? Have you lost your mind?"

Jow Wilson is no liberal. He voted for reagan and poppy bush twice (per an interview Mr. kt heard the other day.) He has no political beliefs that would make him side with us... EXCEPT THAT HE IS A MAN WHO CAN SEE RIGHT FROM WRONG.

Mr. kt heard in that same interview that when Wilson wrote that piece, poppy bush sent him a letter saying he agreed with most of what he said and that he is a man of courage and convictions.

I will ask Mr. kt what interview it was so we can link it here. Does anyone here know already?

6. The Methodology Course 505 Level:
Ever wonder why there are sixteen people in any Bush-created enterprise, supposedly doing ten percent of the workload that you're expected to haul, per day?

It's called "Diffusion".

It also greatly de-fuses many problems that arise when certain things get noticed, which was basically its' entire working premise, from the start.

Kind of makes you feel all warm and snuggly, doesn't it, knowing that not only can truly breathtaking things be done, supposedly in your name, but that you can actually have the thrill of employing five hundred people to provide "diffusion" coverage for the one loon who's out there, somewhere, doing them?

It's a high-end methodology, taught long ago in a very special academy.

You didn't actually imagine that all of those locals named Juan, Abdul and Pierre were genuinely entrusted with really doing anything real, on the taxpayers' dollars, in strange parts of the world, where strange things were happening, for lo, so very many years, did you?

Good gracious, no!

Perish the thought!

How on Earth could such natives be trusted?!

No, they were "diffusion" in their days, as well. Little, multi-colored marionettes intended to occlude the enemies' views of what highly trained specialists did so very well. They were useful, disposable, and easily bought at low cost, in bulk. They protected the highly trained specialists for many, many years.

They were exceptionally useful, against enemies.

Now, don't you feel even warmer and more snuggly to realize that the same method, in use as it's being applied at some large, white National Historic Register buildings these days, clearly indicates that the enemy most to be "diffused against" is you?

7. because he was crazy
enough to dare to tell the truth- even if no one wanted to hear it-
And beyond that, when he wasn't 'cowed' by the outing of his wife, and spoke truth to POWER (evil and corrupt as it IS) he sealed his 'lot'-

The only 'hope' we have, is that people will start being 'hurt' enough by their pocketbook, (gas, heating oil, food, EVERYTHING is more expensive, and i haven't met anyone getting any increases in pay)
and more acutely by the TRUTH that men, women, and children are being sacrificed to the GOD of war- that this administration worships and profits from.

The piper will need to be paid- and the 'sleeping populace' will be in for a rude awakening.

i pray-

9. What do you suppose would happen if Dean said something like that?
I expect it would still be in the news, you know?

10. Peter King is the same guy who said...
"The election's all over except for the counting. And we'll take care of the counting." Remember that??

Talk about carrying water for the administration. Do they have this turd on a leash, or what???
