Maybe the six reporters contacted should be asked why them?

Out of the thousands of "Journalists" in America the Whitehouse picked these six "journalists". Why not Joe Conason or Al Franken? Why these six? Obviously the whitehouse felt they could "trust" these journalist to "get the story right". These six have a habit of making sure the Whitehouse side gets aired before any thing else.
I'm just saying...

Andrea Mitchell - MSNBC (?)
Walter Pincus - Washington Post

7. The Six Contacts:

Forgot Tim Russert. Add him to the three I listed before.

I don't think Cooper and Novak count because they were talked to, obviously, before Novak's column was published. I think there were a couple of Washington Post reporters besides Pincus whom I haven't named. I'll try to find them for you.

The six reporters were all supposedly contacted AFTER Novak's article in an effort, engineered by Rove, to point them to Novak's article as a means of further undercutting Wilson's credibility.

9. Maybe these are the other two:

Tim Phelps and Knut Royce - Both from Newsday, who wrote an article for Newsday on July 22, 2003 which confirmed Plame as being Wilson's wife and a CIA agent working on WMDs. I'm not sure about them though.

Bob Novak,Judith Miller, and Matt Cooper. I don't think anyone else knows who the other 3 are.

Cooper, and Novak. Randi Rhodes said yesterday that Andrea Mitchell may have been one other. Anybody know who the missing three might be?
