Has Rumor Burnout Set In Yet?
In the last 5 days I have seen every single possible combination of persons names, secretes given up or held tight, possible sequences of people talked to and people not, deep sabotages and heartfelt self interest displayed. Unfortunately every damed bit of it rumor, much of which was created by the very people who many of us would wish jailed but enhanced with glee by our side.

At what point does everyone gather their collective breath and say, hey, lets wait and see what the Prosecutor has to say? Its been 18 months since the investigation began. Its July now and Fitzgerald is supposed to be done by October, just another 90 or 100 days. Have just a little patience and the rewards will be great.
On a more practical note, and to make the waiting just a little bit easier on every one, keep in mind that the spin means nothing, the meat is in the indictments and no amount of spin makes any difference once the Clerk says "All to rise". There is one thing that can not be spun; it is this, if the investigation was not going to result in application for indictments, that there was not sufficient evidence to determine a crime had been committed it would have ended by now. Someone is going to face a judge.

1. It is incredible.
The Plame story is like a good book, we are nearing the last pages of this story.

3. Well, Since You Put It Like That
Sure, have fun!

I guess it is a good thing to have all these rumors flying around. Here's why. It puts the Republican Party on the defensive for the first time in almost 5 years. They look good there.

4. It has been fun to watch their
talking points change on a daily basis... Besides someone is sweating it out right now. We don't know the whole story, but I bet it will make a good bestseller and movie of the week....

5. It's Gonna Be A Long Bumpy Ride
If this scandal unfolds as previous ones, we'll go through periods of wild excitement like this followed by months of nothing only to be ramped up again. If Fitzgerald folds up shop, this story will be forgotten by Labor Day. If there are indictments, this story will not burn out but be given life through next year.

Everything that's been presented here or anywhere. Anything I type or you hear or Wolfie or Hannity attempt to spin is purely conjecture..."educated guesses". For me, it's a lot of fun cause the possibilities of a good conspiracy case would rock this regime and the Repugnican party to its foundations. But other than just those delightful dreams, there's nothing but hot air being thrown around...gossip, dish, he said/she said...and we know the American vox populi eats that stuff up.

Right now we're in a whodunnit. That's what's catching everyone's fancy and why the wingnuts are so busy trying to say there's no there there. But once it turns into a real court case and witnesses start to stream through and new pieces of the puzzle revealed, any burn-out will be negated by more revelations. The ultimate burn-out will be once this regime collapses on its own hubris.

Cheers...

6. I'm curious about any possible involvement by Bolton.
Let's say Bu$h does the recess appointment then suddenly Senor Soup Strainer gets dragged into the mix. :nuke:

A Cheney resignation over this mess would be so sweet but I shall temper my enthusiasm for now.

7. Never-I'm getting angrier by the day & just looking fwd to perp walk & in
the meantime watching these scum running our country start to have their karma come back at them.

Remember, it took two years for Nixon to be impeached and walking to Air Force One's Helicopter waving adieu....I don't care if I have to wait two, even three years, I just look forward to them continue to squirm, and dig themselves deeper and deeper into their bed of lies.

I believe this is the beginning of the end for the Neo-con cabal...Maybe I'm overly optimistic, but I have a funny feeling that there are going to many people in this administration who are going to be linked to this (remember, they are a team) and that even the DSM and Bolton are going to all be neatly interconnected into this web of deception and treason against our country committed by this administration.

More than someone, somebodies are going to be facing a judge and a jail.

:grr:
