Here's a little tidbit for you. Novak outed Plame on 7/14/03. David Kelly was found dead three days later on 7/17/03. The common figure in these two events (besides the coincidence of dates, and themes: disabling WMD experts, while yet hunting for WMDs in Iraq; suppression of dissent at any cost) is...ta da! ...Judith Miller!

One of Kelly's last emails--the one in which he is concerned about "many dark actors playing games"--was to...Judith Miller. Miller had used him as a major source in her book, "Germs." In the news article she wrote about his death, 7/21/03 (NYT), she failed to disclose her close connections to Kelly--the Brit WMD expert and chief weapons inspector for Iraq, who had just been whistleblowing to the BBC about the Brits' "sexed up" Iraq WMD intel, and was soon found dead near his home, under a tree, out in the open, in the rain, supposedly having slit a wrist and taken painkillers, and then having slowly bled to death all night. And that isn't even the half of it.

Your list of reasons why not impeaching Bush would be treason, back in August 2003, seems almost...quaint, compared to what I suspect of these Demons of the Night now.

(That's what Alberto Gonzales said about the laws against torture, wasn't it--"quaint"?)
