Bush's legacy - No hope, No prospect of peace

Through his foreign affairs bumblings, he has stolen and negated our optimism for the world being a better place through unity with the world's nations.

Although he touts a better economy, the majority knows it is not so.

4. I lost all respect for him when he refused to talk to James Byrd's family

about calling his death a hate crime.

The Byrd family, however, seems most angry with Bush for his opposition to the hate crimes law Democratic state legislators named after Byrd. They slam him for not supporting it -- as will an ad coming out this week sponsored by the NAACP National Voter Fund. The Byrd family also plans to vote for Gore.
