1. Thanks for answering ahead of time. It's the right answer.
Has he ever told the truth to us?

4. sometime soon maybe but not now
The law of averages will catch up to him one day. But for now he's lying. Hey can we ask the priest at his church if he knew Joe Wilson?

8. Ah, gee!

As for GW Bush being our "real" president, I guess it depends on what your definition of "real" is... Although it's hard to think of one that fits Bush in ANY way.

7. Former CIA analyst Ray McGovern
Tonight, Ray said he thinks it's possible people in Cheney's office encouraged Rove to "out" plame without telling Rove that she was UNDERCOVER. Either way, at a minimum, Rove is guilty of negligence for confirming to Novak that she is a CIA agent (Rove confirmed her to Novak by saying: "I heard that, too."). Rove should have at least determined if she was undercover prior to confirming the info to Novak. He will be prosecuted, imho.

9. It's possible, but if he was it was all a master plan to make it look
Edited on Sat Jul-16-05 01:56 AM by Quixote1818
like he didn't know anything about what was going on. (So he may not have lied about his conversations with Cooper and Novak but he did lie about not knowing they were already leaked the information by Miller.)

The plan seems to have been, have someone leak to Miller, have her leak to Novak and Cooper, have two Administration officials call Novak and get him to leak to them while at the same time have them confirm Plame was CIA so Novak would write the story. Then have Rove call Cooper and have Cooper leak to Rove just like with Novak. Meanwhile it looks like everyone is covered and can't be touched by the law and anyone looking into this would just give up.

But I think Fitzgerald was too smart for them.

10. My kids do that to me sometimes.
That's when I step back and look at the big picture. The crime was committed, and they were all involved. Punish them all.
