Predictable: Attack the victim

John Gibson, in for O'Reilly, lost both his composure and dignity tonight raving to Jamal Simmons about the reaction to his statement that "Karl Rove deserves a medal". His off the wall behavior tonight sure didn't help his case and he just got in deeper and deeper.

Gibson's voice dripped venom calling Valerie Plame "spy wife" adding later that she acted like " a common political hack" sending Joe Wilson to Niger.

Do you think advisers / writers were afraid that he would mispronounce Niger when it came up on his prompter?

2. It's how Karl Rove works

One guy is talking about how Karl Rove always gets shadow people to do his attacking and make it appeal as though it isn't him but it is. Such as when they attacked Ann Richards in the governor race. He made someone else fall for him. So all these attacks coming out and talking points are from Karl Rove I believe. It's how he works. It can say they're from the RNC but it's clearly from Karl Rove.
