I believe that Bush probably knew about Plame/Wilson
Edited on Sat Jul-16-05 01:01 AM by FreedomAngel82
Why? I'm watching the PBS frontline documentary on Rove "the architect" and they just mentioned how Bush and Rove are insync and always have been. It's like they share a brain (hence the nickname). It's also probably why Bush hasn't fired Karl Rove yet. Also Rove to Bush was just a political advisor back then and didn't have much security like he does now. Days after the election (very very shortly) Bush promoted him to deputy Chief of Staff. Why? He isn't anything but an advisor. Because Bush knew Rove was doing dirty tricks that he does. This is what Karl Rove does. Dirty tricks like this to make them win.

He really isn't as stupid as we like to say he is. He knows what he's doing.

2. It's his modus operandi.
Bush is the type of man who believes the end justifies the means, even if the means involve destroying a person's character in the process. He did it with Kerry, McCain, and Richards; Plame is just another notch on his belt.

3. Exactly
They all do it. "They're two brains operating in sync." That's what was said about them in the Frontline doc. So I believe Bush knows everything that goes on through Karl Rove and Bush gave Rove clearance.

Although your reasoning is far superior to mine. I just figured he knew because Bush is such an evil little prick, I like to believe anything bad about him. However, he has his lying ass covered by the old repuke standby: plausible deni-ability.:grr:

*on edit, too many "howevers":hi:

5. Of course
I realized this in the documentary on frontline. If you haven't seen it you can at http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/architect/view/
It's very good and helps you understand them more.

8. Bush knows everything
Edited on Sat Jul-16-05 01:34 AM by FreedomAngel82
They have this whole fake thing to make his opponents think he's stupid and that Rove is the architect but the only thing Rove is the architect on is the campaigning and all that. Everything else is Bush or someone in his cabinet. Bush isn't that stupid. Just a dumbass upfront. Rove's fingerprints may not be on it but his canidate benefits from it. I think this time Rove's hand was caught in the cookie jar.
