On Letterman: Is Christopher Walken ripped?
He is giggling, grinning and leaving off sentences in mid-air like he just finishe a big Bob Marley joint before coming onstage....what's up with that?

4. Who wouldn't be?
You know Dave's got a huge bowl full of the best stuff back in the "green room." Walken took a little too much, is all. Ain't like he's wrapped tight to begin with, if you know what I mean.

6. I'm sorry I'm missing this, currently TV-less...
I remember this one time Walken was on Letterman and he wanted to stand in the spot where Elvis stood during his first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show and Walken did and did a little hip-shake thing. It was kinda cool.
I think the oddest and really great Walken characterization was in the Paul Schrader film COMFORT OF STRANGERS. See it if you can and are in the mood for strange.

7. Jay Mohr's story about Walken's "fantasy cooking show"
According to Jay Mohr, Walken shared this little fantasy with him while they were filming "Suicide Kings."

Beautiful women with long, fake fingernails, perfectly painted and manicured. They would chop vegetables and keep breaking their nails.

The question is not "Is Christopher Walken ripped?"

It's ""When is Is Christopher Walken NOT ripped?"

12. He's a very odd guy...
IMO, but I loved him on SNL in "The Hotel Continental".

He's always seemed to be partaking of something.

15. yeah, but the dangling sentences, staring off, giggling...
...seemed to me to indicate at least a few big tokes off a big spleef before the show...'s ok, but seemed strange. Letterman left him hanging a couple of times...

16. A while to wait to see it here, but Walken is sheer genius
when it comes to acting. I'm not a big movie buff, but anytime I see Walken's name in the cast I know I am going to see something memorable and, at least insofar as his character is concerned, both a challenge to seeing things through the "normal" perspective and very eerily true.
