3. He identified her
If he defamed her it would be enough for a libel suit. It's enough, period.

6. Then how did it get into Novak's piece as an "out?"
Edited on Wed Jul-13-05 05:20 PM by lebkuchen
That the Bushies would play semantic games over the outing only succeeds in exposing this administration as being totally derelict in its regard for national security, which is how 9-11 happened in the first place.

14. Because Novak had two sources
Karl told him about Wilson's wife and then some else said, yeah that chick, Valarie Plame.

A real reporter always gets two sources. At least in the old days.

7. The treason laws don't require a name to be uttered...they
only require that a covert agent be outed. But you know that--the morans need to know it.

8. Derby reminded me
of King of the Hill. Hank's dad, Cotton, always says, "Hello Hank. Hello Hank's wife." There's no question that he's referring to Peggy. Their argument doesn't wash at all.

9. By that logic, criticizing the President without mentioning his name...
... isn't technically being anti-Bush.

By many monikers is the object of our grievance known. Identity doesn't require any particular wording.

And harmony has once again been restored to the universe.

10. easy to debunk
If Rove called to warn Cooper about a story on Wilson, then HE HAD TO KNOW WHO WILSONS WIFE WAS. Supposedly Wilsons wife was in the CIA who sent him to Niger.

Their stories contradict each other.

16. Lame. The rebublicans need political little blue pills to lift
the lies. It won't fly even though they are "catapaulting the propaganda" as best as the republican wimps can throw it.

Watch to see if the republicans running for president say anything on either side of the debate.

 We are at the commercials before the movie part of this...
