OK...Who Else Were Invited To Meet Pete Fitzgerald??
Some parlor game fun while we watch this story spin.

Earlier today Wolfie Blitzer, in a rare moment of actual journalism, cornered RNC head hivemaster Ken Mehlmann if he had been asked to appear before Peter Fitzgerald and the Grand Jury. Mehlmann refused to answer using the "Scotty defense" of not impeding a "pending investigation" Yeah...right.

Wolfie asked Mehlmann a second time, and again he was given the silent treatment...Mehlmann couldn't spin it into a MoveOn conspiracy fast enough. Wolfie let him slip away, but ever since several of us have been wondering who else could have been called in to testify and how this could affect the scope of Fitzgerald's investigation.

My hats are off to this truly Independent investigator for keeping such a tight lid on what is going on and how the right wing is starting to sweat bullets as the day nears that Fitzgerald discloses his findings and/or asks for indictments.

Thus in the spirit of good times, please feel free to speculate who else could be caught up in this spider web if the investigation changes focus (as some have suggested) from the outting of Plame to impeding the investigation of finding out who revealed the name. This goes from outing a traitor to a larger, perjury/conspiracy level and could take this scandal and kick into into a life of its own.

Good luck, have fun...keep hammering for answers and the truth.

1. haha, the Repubs have gotten real quiet lately, haha
they're trying to keep their lies simple.

I'm sorry, but their talking points are really weak right now, and now is a good time for us Liberals to do the one thing we are always terrible at: focus.

We need to keep the focus on Rove. Not let it get diverted into arguments about Wilson and this and that about Africa -too complicated, the idiots out in boobtoob land will tune out, we got keep the issue on the sleaze: high ranking officials leaking top secret info. That's a helluva lot more interesting.
That will keep the American public watching, hopefully long enough to drag the presidents approval ratings down into the 30s. haha!
