A bit of perspective on the Rove situation.
I get just as agitated when I hear people in the media who appear to be defending or downplaying this situation -- today's CNN coverage was just one example (see http://mediamatters.org/items/200507120006 if you don't know what I'm talking about).

But remember one thing -- there is an experienced and seemingly principled prosecutor working on this case. Rush Limbaugh, Brit Hume, Kyra Phillips, Ken Mehlman, and the whole lot of them can say whatever they want -- it's just not going to affect what legal decision this guy makes. If there is a case, I really believe that it will go forward, whether it be the disclosure violation, or something else like perjury or obstruction.

Just my two cents.

1. Your Right Swaying The Public Opinion
will not affect the Grand Jury and what will happen in court... Still it should be noted how they lie to protect their criminals....

5. It's despicable.
It may not affect the legal process, but it does give us some pretty important insight into how they operate and what kind of people they are.

2. Court of public opinion VS> Federal Court

Rove will win one or the other.

3. I agree I saw Brit Hume two days ago say Nothing is coming
but yesterday started to say maybe Rove might get his security clearance revoked and then next Rove might get fired

they can't even begin to say INDICTED!!!

4. In fact, the more the 24-hour news talking heads try to defend Rove,
the more shocking it will be when they have to report his indictment (if that happens.)

6. Perspective means:
Lying about a BJ in the Oval Office = Impeachment

Outing a CIA agent investigating WMD's with the knowledge and consent of the President and Vice President = No Problem

7. And being a Republican means:
Never having to say you're sorry.
