How does David beat Goliath...
What other method do the "terrorists" have against a superpower such as the USA.... Should they march... like the civil rights movement here?... Should they just accept defeat?... How does one fight against overwhelming odds without so-called "terrorism"?... What would we do if a much larger power attacked and killed our children, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers...etc..etc.??

1. What Would We Do????
We would be doing the same thing, though too many here are afraid to admit it.

Personally, I would be blowing up anything and anyone that proved to be collaborating with the occupiers, I would give no quarter and ask for none.

But that's just the way I am.

3. the Battle of Algiers helped me understand
the French were worn down with the relentless attacks, but it took them 150 years to realize that occupying another nation without consent will not work.
we all know that we would fight back.

8. Yeah, it helped Chirac understand, too...
He was a young lieutenant there during the troubles.

4. A much larger power? Like aliens?
You mean like in the uber patriotic movie Independence Day where the crazed pilot hero saves the day by crashing his airplane into the enemy buil... spaceship?

6. No, I mean
if we were not the superpower, and fighting another nation which was much more superior in weaponry.

7. War should be more like NFL Football,
each team with the same number of personnel, tanks, munitions, etc. Not so sure the home team field advantage would still apply.

They could even have an annual "draft". Limpballs could revive his role as commentator. And for the chickenhawks, we could start them off in a pee-wee league, using paintballs instead of live ammunition.

10. I don't condone attacks against innocent civilians, but...
I can tell you this though:

If anyone took the lives of my family and I watched them get buried or I had to bury them with my own hands, I don't think I would stop until the murderers are dead or until I am dead. My fight wouldn't be with, say, the civilians of the nation that attacked and invaded my home. No, my fight would be with the men who destroyed my family.

Perhaps if you can understand my words, then you can understand some numbers of Iraqis who are fighting US troops, fighting against a force with awesome firepower and killing capability far beyond their own. I'm not talking about the ex-Ba'athists or the religious militants or the foreign fighters. I'm talking about regular people like you and me who have families (or had families, I should say) who are seeking revenge for their loss.

Would I drive planes into office towers of the nation that attacked me? Would I bomb civilian subway stations and train stations? No, I'd be fighting to evict occupying soldiers off my land instead. I would most definitely understand those that do attack those things, but I wouldn't condone it.
