LBN-*they* are wrapping up the news preparing for the "slow news month"
with nice pretty talking point bow on it.

If you have tried to do almost anything recently (other than give someone your money) you know that half the people are on vacation and the other half either just came off vacation or are about to go on. Ah the hazy days of summer.

Well August is always a "slow news month" (don't unveil a "product" until September mind you) and I think I see the W assministration setting the debate for the news few weeks that will take us through to September.

W already said that he is going to spend a lot of time reading and thinking about the next SC nominee (whatever that is supposed to mean).

These three stories pretty much sealed up what I thought was going on anyway.

There you go. On top of this we will hear the constant drumbeat of the Rove's "liberals...indictments, counseling, understanding" for the rest of the summer.

DSM, Plame, and the next round of Abu Gharib photos will be out there for everyone to blissfully ignore.

W will go on vacation just like all you regular Americans cause he's just like you.

1. He needs to rest
His performance has obviously been suffering from all the "hard work" he does. Screwing millions of people each and every day is indeed exhausting!
