base with the soldiers in full dress. He said he thought it was nothing but a SHOW! Was that Lautenberg? I was typing and reading DU, but heard SOMEONE on the Senate floor say that. Was it him? It sounds like something he would say. :)

Lautenberg has cast 7000 Senate votes during his carreer...he's entitled to do and say anything he damn well pleases. :)
