1. Which show? "Welcome to the Neighborhood,"
LOS ANGELES - "Welcome to the Neighborhood," an ABC reality series that pushes hot buttons of racism and anti-homosexuality, was pulled by the network before its debut. The program had drawn criticism from groups claiming it risked fostering prejudice.

4. Thanks for posting a summary
I was just coming back to do that. Do any of you remember when one of the networks pulled the hillbilly reality show? I guess this is along the same lines.

5. Good
We need more minority, gay body-pierced and tattooed people in MY neighborhood!

9. They're all living in mine
thank goodness. I'd go stark raving crazy in a white bread suburb. There's no way they could have gotten me into the neighborhood they were "crashing."

6. "the Family Research Council said it was worried evangelicals would
would be made to appear judgmental and foolish" . . . maybe that's because the FRC type evangelicals ARE judgmental and foolish?

8. What worries me more than the fact it was to be aired
Is the fact that it was to be aired because an overwhelming majority at one time wanted it to be.
