So how about that list of greatest Americans, eh!
That wonderful show that was on this weekend, apparently with Ann Coltier and Dennis Miller MCing!

I didn't watch it, but my wife mentioned that truly great Americans made the top 6, like George Bush Jr., and Ronald Reagan!!!

WOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

What a great list! George Bush Jr. who precided over the largest terrorist incident EVER and Ronald Reagan who, with his predecessor, quintupled our National Debt!

Nevermind those silly people who didn't make the top 6. People like Franklin and Teddy Roosevelt, JFK, Truman, Eisenhower, Elanor Roosevelt and Thomas Jefferson can take a running jump! What did they ever do for America???

I gotta admit! it sounds like a fair and unbiased look at American history!

1. Its worse...
Reagan won it.

200+ years of American history and St. Ronnie wins.

7. That's a good point
I hadn't thought about it from that point of view. If "honest Abe" was so great, why hasn't his zombie corpse come back to solve some pressing issues.

:)

4. It was an AOL contest....
anyone with AOL is brain dead anyway. I know, anyone could vote. But a contest like this only means something to people who don't have lives and are idiots anyway. Like freepers! Think about it, this "honor" means absolutely NOTHING, but freeps always love to skew polls and do anything to prop up the rotting corpse of St. Ronnie.
If every American were given one vote, this "honor" would have had a completely different outcome, rest assured.
It means nothing, other than the fact that freeps are the most rabidly insane toads on the face of the Earth.

6. Of course it means nothing, but does ANYONE really think
George Bush Jr. is a greater American than Franklin Roosevelt? Does ANYONE really have Ronnie Reagan higher on the list than Thomas Jefferson???

I can understand playing politics, but even God and Country extremists can't possibly rank a goofus like George Jr. above any one of the founding fathers.

:boggle:

5. What about Sean Hannity? He and his guests are always calling each other
"great Americans", so I figured he oughta rate some consideration, shouldn't he?
