Say it now and say it loud, Real ID is the mark of the beast

Especially for women in Missouri. Starting 1 July anyone renewing their driver license must prove who they are, the preferred method is to have a birth cerificate.
Now, for men this isn't too much of a problem, I still bear the name I was born with, my wife however is a different story. She was married over thirty years ago when she was a girl, it didn't last very long, but, now when she goes to renew her license, she has to prove who she is.

She can bring her birth certificate, but, that's two name changes ago, we figure she must first obtain a copy of her birth certificate, then obtain a copy of her first marriage license, a copy of her divorce decree. Then, more easily our marrige license, and her current drivers license just to prove she is who she is and not a foreign born terrorist, or an ilegal alien.

Now, anyone looking at her could tell right off that she's just another American woman, but she's going to have to do this circus act next month.

She, and several thousand other women from Missouri. It's going to be letter writing time here, to papers, state representatives, and anyone else who'll listen.

Also, since babyface blunt our vastly experienced 33 year old guv, saw fit to privatize license offices they jacked the price from six to twenty dollars.

4. I've been saying exactly that since Real ID passed

I suggested to everyone on my email list to discuss this fact with their fundie friends. Amazing how many bible thumpers don't know what's really in those pages. It says that the anti-Christ, the beast, will fool a lot of them into believing that he is a true man of God and possibly even a messenger of sorts. He then assigns everyone his mark of the beast and no one can buy anything or comfortably survive. As a person not sure how the Bible is to be interpreted, doubting it's meant to be taken literally, I find these parallels eerie.

aware of this. They don't seem to connect this with the false prophet. I wonder who the false prophet could be?

7. Some explanation

There will not be a single false prophet. In the last days, there will be many false prophets arising to declare themself Christ. And here is a scripture to support that:

"Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many... Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."

So the point is, there will be many false prophets.

6. Be careful....

I think we need to be careful before we start saying something represents the Mark of the Beast. Just b/c someone is forcing you to show an ID, or prove who you are, doesn't mean that represents the Mark of the Beast. I think we are well on our way to seeing the Mark of the Beast, but I don't believe we are quite there yet. Remember, when the Mark of the Beast is here, everyone will be forced to accept that Mark, if you want to buy or sell anything.

8. women shouldn't change their names when they get married

simple solution. I've never understood why a woman would agree to adopt her husband's name. Seems so submissive.

Drives me crazy. A women at work has been married three times, to make things worse, in between marriages she goes back to her maiden name.

Pick a feaking name a stay with it all of your adult life!

10. I "shouldn't" have the freedom

to do what I want?

I hate my maiden name. I changed it with each husband, not because I am "submissive" (what do sexual fetishes have to do with this discussion anyway?) but because I liked their last names better than the one I was born with.
