1. Did he get to try out the torture though? Wouldn't want him to miss out
on the whole Gitmo Experience now.

2. LOL...
that was what I was thinking. I do hope he was permitted to be pissed upon, and to sit in his own shit, and I do not mean what is coming out of his mouth.

3. Doesn't KBR serve the $20/plate meals?
Should we really be surprised that they'd be so eager to serve it up for anyone whom the military was willing to pay for. Heck, they can even overcharge them, by billions...

4. Who do you believe more
Scott Ritter about WMD inspections, or Dan Boren about his inspection?

5. This Is Gonna Backfire Big Time
Yesterday, CNNServative had it's armchair general down there telling us about how wonderful this tropical paradise is. So nice, why doesn't he just stay there for 6 months or so. C'mon, I hear the water hazzard on the 9th green is real torture.

People are already laughing about Duncan Hunter's silly menu review. Last week, we went out to eat and I was about to order some Chicken and my son said "Dad, make sure it's not the Lemon Chicken...also ask about the Pita Bread and two types of fruit." LOL. That's my boy.

There's a lot of unease in the wingnut tent about thing, or else you wouldn't see all the outlandish "justifications" going on. They're reaching for things that "prove" it's not the bad place this camp really is.

This ruse can only last so long...especially if more stories and reports leak out and international scrutiny grows stronger. I suspect one day those Congressmen who made that trip will regret being used the way they did. Or at least I hope so.

6. Boren is a Republican
Edited on Sun Jun-26-05 08:43 AM by hippywife
He merely runs as a Democrat...just like so much of the so-called Democratic leadership in this state.

He could have stayed in the district he was in and run against a Republican but instead he moved to Cong. Dist. 2 to run against and bash a wonderful, truly liberal Dem.

He's scum.

Edited for grammer.

7. This would only be meaningful if the Congressmen/women could see a list

of all prisoners, bring their own interpreters and tape recorders, randomly select from the prisoner list, and spend an hour with each interviewing them about their experience, tape the interview so as to make sure there were no errors in interpretation.
