They 'may' let him speak at 4:00 if there's time.

13. That's a misleading headline. Dominici
asked the Senate's permission a couple of hours ago if he could leave at 3:30 p.m. He and some others have a meeting with BRAC Commissioners. Dominici kindly asked Kerry if he could wait until after the vote. Kerry said he wanted to be accommodating and that he would wait. Kerry was not "denied" his right to speak.

Anyway, I will be looking forward to what he had to say.

14. I didn't hear the earlier exchange. It would make a difference.
It's pretty easy to see the worst in this crowd when they manipulate most everything in DC to their advantage.

7. They "may" let him speak, huh? How disappointing.
Does anyone know what the subject was supposed to be?

9. Will be speaking. KKKarl Rove
Edited on Thu Jun-23-05 02:36 PM by TayTay
I expect Kerry to speak around 4:20 or so. (Maybe later. Votes take around 35-40 minutes.) Domenici, who controls the floor time because he is floor managing the Energy Bill, asked Sen. Kerry to hold off on his speech until after a little more energy talk and a vote.

So, you have time. Call your friends and set a tape. I somehow anticipate that this will not be a sweet kiss, but a rather harsh rebuke. (hehehehe)

8. Sounds like today is the day the 'Empire Strikes Back'
After months of loosing on brain dead women, social security, DSM, slipping ratings,... They decided on an all out offensive today. Lets hope it backfires. Can we spin it? will people see it on their own? do we need to fight back? Since businesses have more rights than people, maybe all democrats should incoperate into the DemoInc. Then we could have access to the full government.

11. Then he should walk out onto the front steps of the Senate
and start speaking. Since the inside of the government buildings no longer belong to the people, maybe we should bring the truth out into the light.

15. There's a lot of wisdom in that idea!
Can't speak on the floor, call weekly briefs on the capital steps.

Get the gaggle to cover it any way you can.
