The skinny, dark-haired teenager sat in a black vinyl chair at Ford's Barber and Beauty Shop on South Halsted Tuesday and told the barber to make him look like Al Pacino.

He got up a few minutes later, looking no more like Pacino than when he'd walked in.

"We get all types," said Vic Thompson, the man who'd just cut his hair.

"All types" would likely include Antonio Sidney, a cross-dressing male stylist at Ford's Barber who favored tube tops, sequins and stilettos.

On Saturday night, authorities allege, a 25-year-old man stabbed Sidney through the heart on the street outside the barber shop.
